Interior Designers are architecturally oriented and their responsibilities include creating space plans, lighting plans, adjacency diagrams, interior architecture design elements and details, and providing construction documents to obtain building permits. We also have knowledge of building codes that pertain to interior spaces. Interior design is more than just designing an interior space, it’s being able to detail and execute how it works.

Nicole Blackmon creates functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors that impact people's everyday experiences. Creating unique spaces, Nicole conveys her design style as timeless interior design. Since establishing her firm, Vision by Nicole, LLC, Nicole has collaborated with clientele who have diverse design styles to achieve fresh and vibrant interior spaces.

After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art in Design, Nicole Blackmon headed to New York City to pursue a career in Interior Design. She worked at a very prestigious firm called Edese Doret, designing the interiors of private jets and yachts.

It was this experience and the previous design experience with one of the biggest brands in private jetting, Gulfstream Aerospace that expanded her knowledge of design. After moving back to her hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina she went on to work for two very highly reputable architecture firms, Millennium 3 Design Group and I For Design. Ultimately, Nicole has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, which sparked the idea of establishing her own firm, Vision. This combination of experience and education, laid the foundation for the highly anticipated start of Vision by Nicole, LLC.
